Platforms as big as Instagram get unlimited feature requests all the time, from so many people of all kinds. But this time, it worked. Instagram Has changed the wording to Ask me a question? sticker on Instagram story.
A user of Instagram, Musa Tariq of San Francisco tweeted to Instagram with an suggestion for a product tweak. He suggested the Instagram change the default text from “Ask me a question” to “How can I help?” He said that by making the change, Instagram would “spread more kindness in the world than most of us could ever dream of.”
Then Adam Mosseri Tweeted “I like It” ” We love the idea of reframing the question to focus on others — so we just launched it right now. We are hoping it’ll be a small way to help people spread kindness and support.”
Note that the default text in the Instagram question sticker could be changed even prior to this update. The gesture comes at a time when the Covid-19 outbreak has taken the world by storm. Also, if an Instagram story sticker can help to people and make things better than why not?
Another sticker that’s quite popular on Instagram these days is the “Stay Home” sticker. App was also putting Stories by users who use the Stay Home sticker right on top of the Instagram. There are other Stay Home and social distancing Instagram story stickers as well that Instagram users can use for Stories.
